25th September, 2008 - 9:16 am
Newsday - Andy Pettitte will become a free agent after the season and claims that the Yankees have indicated that they want him back, according to Newsday.

Pettitte, however, hasn't said for sure whether or not he'll pitch next season.

"[The Yankees], they've pretty much let it be known they'd like to have me back," Pettitte said. "I want to try to make a quick decision. Hopefully I don't get home and scuffle with it."

It'll be New York or nowhere, according to Pettitte.

"I want to play here. I want to play here. We'll see what happens, but I want to play here," he said. [READ]
